Mohsen is from Iran and has worked at the Afghan Embassy/UNHCR. He is now pursuing his Master’s in English Literature from the University of Putra, Malaysia. He has also worked for various international organizations such as the Asia-Europe Institute, UNDP, the United Nations Children’s Fund, and with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. He has participated in several international seminars and lectures about peacebuilding and human rights. Moshen believes that, “In order to make transformative efforts to break the cycle of hatred…Peacemakers should already have some distinctive qualities to ensure success.” He can speak Persian, French and Dari. He plays a traditional Iranian instrument professionally and enjoys folklore, martial arts, mountain climbing, and keeping in touch with friends.
