Emishaw Tegegnework Yimenu

Emishaw is from Ethiopia. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations and a Master’s degree in Regional and Local Development Studies. In 2007 he participated in the British Council’s Interaction Leadership. He has interned with Action Aid Ethiopia as a campaigner for human rights, and also volunteered at the National HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Secretariat. His community service includes aiding with activities and initiatives such as Speak Africa Youth Media group, UNICEF, and Interaction for YICHALA. Emishaw says, “My dream is motivating people to choose to bring change, using their own context and language.”  Thanks to the experience of the Harambee leadership training with IofC Africa in October 2009, he became interested in attending CSP, where he looks forward to experiencing diversity and reflecting on his future ambitious project to transform society.
