Maguy is a Lebanese, who graduated from American University of Beirut last year with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Philosophy. She finished this year her second degree in Psychology. She has excellent language skills in English, Arabic and French. She likes observing people and wants to be a psychologist. The striking memory of the war between Lebanon and Israel and the undergoing revolution in Arab world gave her a big motivation to help other people with problems. She said, “The political turmoil that Lebanon had witnessed in the past few years had lead me to invest time and energy in understanding the world around me. The dreams of equality, freedom and meritocracy clashed with the brutal reality and talks of sectarianism and discrimination.” She deeply hopes to join CSP to bring about a change and take a step toward global peace. She enjoys doing sports, especially basketball and badminton.
