Christa Lane Hooper
Christa comes from Philadelphia, the historic capital of the United States. She is in her second year of graduate school working towards a dual master's degree at Arcadia University in International Peace and Conflict Resolution & Public Health. She is pursuing her strong interest in environmental health and human rights. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology from St. Joseph's University where she has also worked as a Project Coordinator and Research Assistant in the Child Development Laboratory of the Psychology Department. “I believe public health is a tool to bridge divides and create peace, because it is a basic necessity for the entire global community. My career path is to be of service to the underserved communities, transforming conflicts and resolving prominent public health issues.” She enjoys outdoor activities and has played softball for 15 years, including at the collegiate level.
