Amanda comes from the USA and is a candidate for Juris Doctor, while earning her Master’s degree in Public Policy and Management. She earned her BA at Ohio State University in Art and International Studies. Her passion for community service has led her to volunteer at the Mediation Services, Community Refugee and Immigration Service, and the American Red Cross, as well as serve as an unpaid intern at the Franklin County Juvenile Detention Center. “I was surrounded by conflict while growing up,” she says. “I want to be a solution to these problems.” She believes the sources of conflict come from inside each person and that the Caux Scholars Program will equip her with skills to encourage growth in others. She likes reading and enjoys arts and crafts, such as drawing, painting and fabric work.
